A peaceful visit to the Art of Living Center in Bangalore

Join me on a journey through the tranquil landscapes and transformative experiences that await visitors at the Art of Living Center in Bangalore. Nestled amidst the lush greenery on the outskirts of Bangalore, the Art of Living International Center is a haven for seekers of peace, wellness, and spiritual growth. Founded by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, a renowned spiritual leader and humanitarian, this sprawling campus serves as a retreat from the hustle and bustle of urban life.

As you approach the center, the landscape changes dramatically from the chaotic cityscape to a serene expanse of greenery. Surrounded by the picturesque Sahyadri mountain range, the center provides a perfect backdrop for introspection and relaxation. The well-maintained gardens, water bodies, and vibrant flowers create a calming atmosphere, setting the stage for a peaceful retreat.

Upon entering the Art of Living Center, we were greeted by an array of spiritual and cultural symbols that reflect the diverse heritage of India. The Vishalakshi Mantap, an exquisite meditation hall, stands as a symbol of peace and spirituality. The architecture incorporates traditional Indian elements, creating an ambiance conducive to meditation and self-reflection.

One of the highlights of the Art of Living Center experience is the opportunity to participate in meditation and yoga sessions. The center offers a variety of programs catering to individuals of all levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners. The meditation and yoga sessions are designed to help participants relax, rejuvenate, and attain a sense of inner peace. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in the Vishalakshi Mantap.

Post that we visited the cafeteria where Saatvik food was served to everyone free of charge. The food was so delicious I can hardly explain the feeling. I also visited the Shiva temple post lunch where we could do our own worship.

A visit to the Art of Living Center in Bangalore is not just a physical journey but a transformative experience for the mind, body, and soul. Surrounded by nature, enveloped in spirituality, and immersed in cultural richness, I left with a renewed sense of well-being and a deeper connection to my inner self.
